The hot tub is maintained at 104 degrees so it is always ready for you. 104 is the maximum legal and safe temperature so please do not attempt to increase the temp. It is very likely that the circuit breaker will trip if the temp is raised above 104.

Hot TubThe hot tub is located on the large South-facing balcony. It is shared with guests in Sonenalp 3, so please be conscious of the needs of other guests.
Our spa maintenance team will visit 2 times per week (Mondays and Thursdays) to be sure that the hot tub is kept at safe levels as per the requirements for commercial hot tubs. Please do not remove the chlorine floater or try to adjust the chemicals in any way. Please be sure to replace the cover when you are not using it, especially over night. |
Please review and follow the safety info below:
- Do use glass items in or near the hot tub.
- No jumping, underwater swimming, diving our rough play in the hot tub.
- Do use glass items in or near the hot tub.
- Never use the hot tub alone.
- Watch your step as you enter and exit the hot tub, especially during winter when ice can form on railings and the balcony floor.
- Soaking for too long in elevated water temperatures can raise body heat to hazardous levels. A safe soaking time should not exceed 15 minutes.
- NEVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES leave children unattended in a hot tub or spa. The hot tub may be not safe for infants and young children. Consult with your family doctor before use.
- If you have heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, if you think you might be pregnant or if you have any serious illness do not use the hot tub without your physician's advice and approval.
- Do not use alcohol and drugs before or while using the hot tub. Hot water amplifies the effect of these substances, and the result can be dangerous. Consult your doctor before using the hot tub if you are taking prescription drugs.
- If you have any external infections, wounds or cuts should avoid the hot tub or spa until they have healed, because the hot water can carry and infection to others, or cause a new infection.
